Getting Started with Your Wardlight™
1. Assemble the base
Attach the two support legs and grounding stakes to the bottom of the unit. No tools needed — they click into place.
2. Pick your spot
Choose anywhere in your yard, patio, or outdoor space. No outlet required. Press the stakes firmly into the ground, or use the included hook to hang it from a tree branch, pergola, or porch beam.
3. Set the mode
Flip the power switch to your preferred setting. AUTO mode is recommended — the built-in light sensor charges the battery during the day and automatically activates the UV grid at dusk. Switch to ON for continuous 24-hour protection.
4. Let it work
That's it. The Wardlight™ runs on its own. The solar panel keeps the battery charged, and the 4500V grid handles the rest.
5. Cleaning
When dead insects build up on the grid, spray the unit down with a garden hose. The IPX4 waterproof housing means you can rinse it while it's still standing in your yard. Use the included brush for anything stubborn.
Optional: USB charging
If you need a faster charge or you're setting up during cloudy weather, plug the included USB cable into the charging port under the rubber seal on the side panel. A full USB charge takes about 4 hours versus 10 hours by solar.
